JOHN PLANK

John was born in 1725 in Killingly, Windham County, Connecticut.  He was christened on 31 March 1728  John married Lydia Jeffords on 15 February 1750 in Thompson New Haven Second Church, Thompson, Windham County, Connecticut.

John and Lydia  had the following children:

1.  Asa Plank (Revolutionary Soldier) was born 27 January 1753 in Thompson, Windham County, Connecticut.  Asa married Elizabeth Book on 27 January 1785 in Thompson, New Haven Second Church, Windham County, Connecticut.

 

2.  John Plank (Revolutionary Soldier) was born 14 October 1749 in Thompson, Windham County, Connecticut. He died on 3 June 1825 in Denmark, Lewis County, New York.  He was buried in the Plank Cemetery, Town of Denmark, Lewis County, New York (on the Copenhagen-Deer River Road).

John  was 76 years, 6 months and 21 days old when he died.  He served in the Revolutionary War under Col. Frederick Fisher's Militia.
