GROVER CLIFFORD BUCHHOLZ

Grover Clifford Buchholz  (Joseph Daniel M. Buchholz, (Martin) Johann Wilhelm Buchholz, Martin Jochim Heinrich Buchholtz, Franz Christian Buchholtz) was born 28 December 1903 in Franklin Township, Darke County, Ohio and died 4 March 1996 in Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigan.  He was buried on the 8 March 1996 and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, Michigan.

Grover married (1) Dorothy Bentam on 10 May 1924 in Ashley, Gratiot County, Michigan.

Grover married (2)  Frances Eschuk on 17 September 1932 in Bannister, Gratiot County, Michigan by Edward Smith, Minister. Frances was born on 20 March 1915 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.    Frances' parents were James and Katherine Switzer Eschuk.  Grover and Frances lived in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan while he worked for Fischer Body in Lansing.

They had the following children:

1.  Grover Buchholz Jr.

2.  Richard Keith Buchholz White

Grover also married (3) Saphrona R. Saxton Howard on 5 October 1940 in Duplain Township, Clinton County, Michigan.

Saphrona was born 1 March 1911 and died 26 August 1987 in Chesaning, Saginaw County, Michigan.

Grover later married Clara Frasier McKay on January 5, 1951 in Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan.

Grover had two step-children:

1.  Donald McKay

2.  Maxine McKay Collins

Clara died on 27 January 1977.
