Albert was born  on 15 June 1872 in Brandenburg, Germany and died on 19 May 1947 in Richland Township, Saginaw County, Mi.  He married Anna Marie Sommers Kade on 13 January 1898 at Zion Lutheran Church, Iva, Richland Township, Saginaw County, Michigan by Karl L. Mueller, Lutheran Minister. Anna was born on 10 February 1871 in Waldenburg, Macomb County, Michigan.  

 

Albert came to America in 1889, he settled in Macomb County, Michigan for two years before residing in Richland Township, Saginaw County, Michigan since 1891.  For 55 years, Albert and Anna owned and operated a farm inn Richland Township, retiring in 1947. 

 

Albert died on 19 May 1947 at his residence in Richland Township and Anna died on September 1959 at the Slater Rest Home in Merrill, Saginaw County, Michigan. They are buried in the Richland Lutheran Cemetery, Hemlock,  Saginaw County, Mi.

Albert and Anna had the following children: 

Edwin and Meta Bauer Stenzel

 

 

Edwin August Stenzel born August 10, 1898 and baptized at the Zion Lutheran Church the same year in Richland Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. Edwin was in the Zion Lutheran church's confirmation Class of 1913. 

 

Edwin married Meta Bauer on 26 August 1937 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richland Township, Hemlock, Saginaw County, Michigan by Ernst Walther, a Lutheran Pastor. Their witnesses were Reinhard Bauer and Doris Stenzel.  Meta was born on August 10, 1898, her parents were Martin and Eva Barnecker Bauer.   

 

 Edwin was a Woodworker and worked in Saginaw furniture factories.

 

Edwin died on 1 January 1985 and Meta died on 15 October 1980. They are both buried in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.

Herbert William A. Stenzel was born August 16, 1899 and was baptized at the Zion Lutheran Church the same year. He was in the Zion Lutheran Church's confirmation class of 1913.   Herbert married Elsie A. Wagner (Cramton) on 4 March 1924 in Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan by H.W. Fischer, First Presbytarian Church Minister.

 

They had a daughter Jean E. Stenzel who married Francis Clements.

 

 Herbert died on 24 August 1973 and Elsie died 27 August 1972.  They are both buried in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.

Doris Ellen Stenzel was born 1 July 1902 and was baptized the same year at the Zion Lutheran Church in Richland Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. She was in the Zion Lutheran Church's confirmation class of 1915. 

 

Doris received her education at Hemlock Schools, Mt. Pleasant Teachers College and Ypsilanti College.  Doris taught school in several Saginaw County schools and also in Mt. Clemens and Roseville, Michigan.  She died on 20 April 1947 due to an accident when she was on way home from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Doris is buried in the Richland Lutheran Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.
