GLEN IVAN BUCHHOLZ

Glen Ivan Buchholz (Heinrich Carl Theodore Johann Buchholz, (Martin) Johann Wilhelm Buchholz, Martin Jochim Heinrich Buchholtz, Franz Christian Buchholtz) was born 15 February 1913 in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio.  He died 27 July 1927 in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio and was buried 29 July 1927 in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford, Miami County, Ohio.

Glen worked as a farmer, he was plowing, working for a neighbor, who was his employer, Mr. Frank Webster.   A neighbor asked Glen if he would like to see a tree cut down.  The wind changed, as Glen was running out of the distance and the tree fell on him and killed him.  It was after dark before the neighbor got up enough courage to bring the body home.  Glen was 14 years 5 months and 12 days old when he passed away.
