Maude Lundy was born 3 July 1882.

 

Maude married George W. Byers, son of Hugh Byers and Marion Runion, on 12 September 1897 in Wheatfield Township,  Ingham County, Michigan by Charles R. Hoagland.  George was born 22 March 1847 in Carlton, New York.  He died 30 December 1928 in Williamston, Michigan and was buried 2 January 1929 in Dennis Cemetery, Williamston, Michigan.

 

Maude and George Byer's witnesses at their marriage were Mr. and Mrs. William Lundy of Alaiedon Township, Ingham County, Michigan.

 

They had the following child:

*obituary - George W. Byers was born in Carleton, New York on the 22nd of March 1847 and died at his at Williamston on the 30th of December, 1928 at the age of 81 years old.
He came to Michigan when eight years old with his parents and settled near Williamston, Michigan.  He enlisted with the 20th Michigan Regulars, January 27, 1864 and was honorably discharged July 21, 1865.  He was the last Civil War Veteran of the Eli P. Alexander Post of this place.  He married September 12, 1897 to Maude Lundy of Wheatfield Township, Ingham County, Michigan.  He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Bennett, three grandchildren, Violet, Winston, and  Otto Clare Bennett, one sister Eliza E. Lockwood, brother, Charles Byers of St. Louis.
