MARY C. RIGG
Mary C. Rigg (James c., Robert, George, Clement, Robert Rigg) was born 20 March 1852/53 in Alaiedon Township, Ingham County, Michigan. She died 7 October 1914 in Mason, Ingham County, Michigan and was buried 9 October 1914 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason, Michigan.
Mary married William H. Lundy, son of Edward Lundy and Martha Ann Lott on 1 April 1873 in Alaiedon Township, Ingham County, Michigan by J.B. Blacke, Justice of the Peace. William was born September 1844 in Barre, New Orleans County, New York. He died 23 December 1913 in Mason, Michigan was buried 26 December 1913 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason, Michigan.
Mary and William Lundy's witnesses at their marriage were Maria and Sarah Slater of Alaiedon Township, Ingham County, Michigan.
Mary and William had the following children:
1. Henry A. Lundy was born 20 September 1874. He died 22 February 1886.
2. Harvey Lundy was born 4 March 1877 and died 31 July 1951.
3. Robert Syrenis Lundy was born 17 February 1880/1881 and died 24 November 1950.
4. Maude Lundy was born 3 July 1882
5. William L. Lundy was born November 1887 and died 25 October 1948.
6. Martha Ann Lundy was born 19 July 1890 and died 5 November 1907.
7. Son Lundy was born 31 July 1896 and died 2 August 1896.
The 1900 Census - William and Mary are living in LeRoy Township, Ingham County, Michigan. Their children are listed as - Harvey age 22, Robert age 20, William age 12, Martha age 9, and also
a daughter-in-law, Edna age 18 years and a granddaughter Katie age one month.
*obituary - Ingham County Newspaper - October 15, 1914: Mrs. Mary Lundy died suddenly last Thursday when working at the home of E. A. Reedy on Buzzell St. in Mason, Michigan. Medical assistance was summoned immedately upon her being taken ill, but death arrived ahead of the physician. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Mission Chappel on Maple Street Rev. A. G. Newberry officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. The deceased was 62 years of age, having been born March 20, 1852. Her husband William Lundy, passed away about a year ago. She leaves two sons, William and Harvey Lundy of this city and one daughter, Mrs. Maude Byers of Williamston.
