Rudolph Herbert Miller "Rudy" was born 1 April 1901 in Lakefield Township, Saginaw County, Michigan.  He died 18 July 1983 at his home in St. Charles, Michigan and was buried 22 July 1983 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.

Rudy married Ethel Matilda Arnold, daughter of Fred Arnold and Iva Ann Sias in Elkhart, Indiana.  Ethel was born 23 November 1907 in Breckenridge, Gratiot County, Michigan.  She died 25 July 2009 in Ashley Care Center, Ashley, Michigan and was buried 29 July 2009 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.

Rudy and Ethel had the following children:

2.  Roderick Deane Miller

3.  Roger Miller

Rudy stayed home and worked the farm for his father for many years. He had been employed by the Saginaw Steering Gear for about 25 years retiring in 1964.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wheeler, Michigan.  Rudy lived in the Merrill and St. Charles area his entire life.

Ethel was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wheeler, Michigan.  She served as a 4-H leader for 55 years and taught adult education for 27 years.  She taught quilting classes and loved fishing.
